Having vowed not to buy anything more for Eboola until I get a new BP for Biffar I couldnt help upgrading her hat lastnight when one was rotting.
Could have kicked myself though. I am trying as hard as I can to get a BP before maybe having to retire from raiding and as such my raid attendance the last 30 days has been 82% the highest I have been able to achieve since joining the guild. I took one night off last week to do my cycling around Dublin and what should drop but a Plate BP that went for 36 dkp !! Man I could have spit !! Anyway we are back in dreadspire so maybe one will drop tonight.

Only pain with this was that I lose the focus (Faerune) so did a quick Nest Mission and bought the See Invis AA.

Did a Nest run after raids and in 40 minutes we got 3 scales (didn't win any of the rolls), 11% normal xp and 7 AA. This was with Lotd running of course. When the new ewxpansion comes out I guess this is where most people will exp as well as CoA. Must look at botting this cause its the only way to go as well as being a great place to farm cash
Having cleared DK yesterday and losing the bid on a sweet clicky invis cloak we did half of Demi Plane tonight. After, as we had finished in good time, Mily, Charoke and myself decided to 1 group CoA and go for the Aug droppers. Well much to our surprise it was actually very easy with the only hiccup coming from a gater that bought back a train. Even better I won one of the augs for Eboola and the xp was very sweet at almost 6% a kill. Look forward to doing this more :)

Just putting in the attendance and grinding out the dkp at the moment. Had a word with one of the more knowledgeable guild clerics today and asked him to help choose the next upgrades for Biffar. Really dont know what is best to buy for him next so would be good to start planning his upgrades better. Did some grinding with Eboola and reaches 910aa so getting close to the 1000 mark now :)

Did a nest run after the raid and got 6AA in 30 minutes plus I won the roll on the scale that dropped, now that you can't beat thats for sure :) Maybe I will just blow my DKP and instead make Biffar that BP like I had planned.
For the first time in what seemed to be months I got to play EQ over the weekend. This clashed with World Cup so it wasn't full time but still was a blast.
The Friday night raid was cancelled due to attendance problems with the enchanters so instead did an aug run which I didn't win anything on (again).
Spent time working on BiC quest and managed to get a few drops. Also spent a fair bit of time doing Black Wing missions farming for my Last Blood armour. However looking at the quest this isn't going to be trivial and will be hard work to get everything i need. Still I managed to pick up 3 scales (which is how many I need) though I will probably need more as I am bound to fail some combines. Would be easier to save my DKP and buy myself one from Dreadspire or something. Time to do some research.
Sunday we did Deathknell and during the clear we killed Shatteyr and I got the BP for Eboola...

This is an upgrade but I wouldn't wear it just yet as the one she wears now has a sweet BS modifier.
Having bashed our heads against DK in its old pre-nerfed format and beaten at least the first event it was a shame that it got tweaked down too much and allowed a host of other guilds to beat the various events. Couple this with the fact that they elected to patch a couple of evenings when we were raiding and denying us the playtime has meant that we have ended up from leading the pack in PoR to coming in 6th serverwide to kill the boss.
Now we have months of farming Dreadspire and Deathknell before the next expansion and it will be interesting to see if the guild has the stamina for it.
The drops were pretty awesome as you can expect and the aug that dropped had everyone drooling and hopefully this will be a common drop so we all get a chance at it.
Otherwise its been a pretty quiet time for me EQ wise the last few weeks with Susie over here visiting. I have had a chance to do a couple of augument runs in CoA but my dice have let me down so far and I havent won anything yet. Still I will keep trying and hopefulyl get luckier soon
On Friday we did DK and during the event the phone rang.
Now what do you do? I knew who it was, it was my brother, somebody who I only get to speak to once a week and thats if I am lucky as he works wierd shifts and keeps odd hours. So not wanting to cause problems by being AFK I announce in channel and group that I must take the call and step out of the zone. 10 minutes later I come back and resume from where we left off, yes we had wiped, but nobody was pointing fingers at me so I assummed that everything was ok. Not as though we were even short of clerics with 9 or 10 of us there.
Not until yesterday did I find that not only did I lose the hours dkp for the 10 minute AFK I have also been fined a further 2 hours of DKP as a fine. My emotions at this stage are very mixed. I am getting burnt out from the raiding and I am so tempted to deguild at this stage. Now I know its a trivial thing but underneath I am just boiling with fustration from such a heavy handed reaction.
On a lighter note we did DS and I picked up a couple of loots. Was a very good run with us clearing everything except Performer and MM which I guess we will do tonight.

Well it's been a quiet week or so as Susie has been visiting me in Dublin so I haven't had much chance to play. However last night we did Dreadspire and I had a chance to play a bit in the afternoon before raid started so a few things got done.
First of all Eboola got as far as 275 in Making Poison which cost about 5k so very happy with that. Will have to start farming some stuff to max her out.
I had a chat with Damide and discussed about changing mains. I said that I would happily put the request on hold as the cleric turnout at the moment looks very weak. No good me changing mains if the guild suffers, so I said that I would remain playing Biffar but would appreciate it if I don't get grief about buying items for Eboola as Biffar doesn't need that many upgrades.
Saying that though I went on a spending spree for Biffar and purchased a couple of nice items.

I also have decided to finish Biffar's BiC (see the new section for quests) as this will make a very sweet aug for my new BP (see below).

Of course the main problem here is having the Smithing Skill at 300 as the trivials for these are 338 or something like that. Apparently there is a dwarf on the server who will do the combines but would be kinda cool if I did them myself. As for skilling up I guess I need to get farming for Shadowscream Armour and then farm Piles of Gravel to make the Master's Stormguard Armour. Then got to do a load of farming of Metalic Drake Scales as they are used in pretty copious amounts. Still it will give me even more to do with Biffar out of raid times so it should be fun, just need to get hold of a decent tank to borrow. It's not as though I NEED a new BP, just would be nice to get one and this seems to merge a lot of quests into one much larger one.
