Biff and The Biffbots 

Story so far

Well its been quite a while since I last posted so I thought I should finally get off my butt and give you all an update.

Biffar has been doing pretty well for himself with new gloves, arms, face and range. In fact this coupled with the fact he is now max AA with 55 saved means that about the only thing I need to do with him is get my 1 last AA (I am missing a trial) and to get him to 13k unbuffed mana. Have been enjoying the expansion though I havent done an awful lot except get him flagged for Theatre of Blood and get him his 55 Spell. Need to finish his lvl 70 spell at some time and maybe get an aug or two from doing some quests.

Eboola has come on leaps and bounds with the AA and is now at 722. Gear wise I havent been able to get her any upgrades as my playtime has been so low and I have spent what little dkp I have earned in Biffar. However as we intend to go back to CoA at sometime I am going to buy her an epic orb and start her 2.0 quest. I also hope at some time to get her the Vish whip.

Digglewig hasn't been used for ages now though my trader has been up now most days and the money has steadily rolled in. In fact I have about 450k saved now towards a gnome mask if I can ever find one for sale.

One nice thing that happened recently is that I was able to play a bit with some old friends on Luclin. Luckily some old guildies from my old guild over there have let me use their accounts and with them I was able to group up with my wife and friend and at least get her some decent exp. In fact we got her to 70 and the others to 69. Also got to PL my friends rogue to 59 as well as get a ton of Fabled Fungi Tunics from Seb (8 in fact) plus a few other nice drops. Was a fun couple of days play.

Anyway thats about it for this update. I will try and get back to regular updates just been so busy with other things recently

Dublin

This is my setup in Ireland.

Basically a fairly mediocre desktop on which I can just about 2 box with 3 low spec laptops that can just about play 1 character each. As long as I dont have to move around much the setup is fine, thus PoF I can 5 box, otherwise I normally leave a trader up and 3 box at at the most

12th Feb

Logged on in the early afternoon and along with Splosh (who gave me a very nice present of a Shield of Striding) we headed over to Kael. King Tormax was up and targetable but he must have been under the world as he wasn't at his spawn spot. Nor did he appear on track, very strange. So instead we headed to Vindi and killed him but his death didnt spawn the Statue or Idol so no chance to kill Avatar of War.

Because of this I was 5 minutes late getting to raid and therefore had to sit out for the first 3 hours. I played Eboola instead and got her poison making to 170. I also got to try and do 70.5 hard but the group was appalling and we lost (cleric didnt even have Conviction). Its a good reminder to myself that no matter how disgruntled I may get sitting out in raids because they are full I should never consider leaving the guild because of it as the playerbase out the top guilds just makes playing too much like hard work.

Hilight of the night was our first kill of Mayong Mistmoore . What a fight ! Having been trying this encounter almost everynight since we killed Performer and finished Tier 2 this was a tremenous kill as it puts us #4 serverwide and means that we have beaten this expansion well in time before the next one is released. Our kill also means that of the 4 guilds that have killed Mayong Mistmoore so far 3 of them are on our server which really drives home that AB is "The" server to be on.

I really need to increase my attendance though as its seriously down at the moment and at this rate I will never get a new BP or the eye from Vish.

11th Feb

My first weekend in almost a month where I am free to play as much as I want. Spent the day doing doing various jobs around the house and messing with the websites. Managed to do a little exp in PoF to get a few AA for Biffar, Eboola and Turo. Turo dinged 800 AA and Biffar is now 80%+ into 70 and has 11 AA saved, he is going to be max very soon. Hilight of the day was doing 1 of my missing MPG trials with Biffar (Efficiency) which now just leaves 1 left to finish them for good. Also exped in Ruins of Illsalin with Eboola and managed to win a rather nice helm that I can sell for 40-45k.

10th Feb

Made raid start for a change but had to log soon after raid start as the web master from my old guild on Veeshan contacted me about moving the website back to my server. Eventually took all the file back for Circle Of Eternity and rebuilt the site.

9th Feb

Didn't make raid start but was able to play for about 90 minutes before getting sent an email informing me that my websites were now installed and ready for use. Upto that point we had been doing Dreadspire but I couldn't stay so logged and worked until 1am on rebuilding the websites for Sceptered Isle and Da Troll Patrol

7th Feb

Logged on late again due to work and going to a meeting. Did the same as last night just got a few AA for Biffar, Eboola, Turo and Eazy in PoF with Mily

6th Feb

Logged on at 10pm for an hour just to show ppl I am still alive and kicking. Did some XP in PoF at C2 with Mily, used up Lotd on all chars and then went to bed.

Jan 31st

Loggged on late so missed the clearance upto Master of Mistmoore. We spent the night evening trying to work out how best to kill Master and were consistently getting to engage him. Lack of bane weapons though so we need to farm more of phase 2 before we are going to kill him thats for sure. Ended the evening with a quick kill of Yarl and though I bid on the aug that drops I wasn't going to spend too much.

Jan 30th

Quick Vish kill followed by Zit after which we spent the night dying to Master of Mistmoore. Still by the end of the evening we at least had been able to activate him and we have a much clearer idea of what is needed to be done, we need more bane weaons thats for sure.
